Hosting and connection data
The site is delivered by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) processes connection data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and time in order to deliver the page and defend against attacks. We keep no server logs of our own. Legal basis: legitimate interest in secure, available operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31(1) FADP).
Fonts and media
Fonts, images, videos and 3D models are delivered from our own host. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font or embed provider.
Datasheet request
When you request the datasheet, we store your name, company, email address and, if given, your process description in a Cloudflare D1 database in order to send you the document. The download link is signed and expires after 24 hours. A bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs on submission; it sets no cookie and does not track you across sites.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Marketing contact requires your separate, optional consent on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you may withdraw it at any time by email.
Pilot request
When you request a pilot, we store your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), line or process, main problem and message (optional), plus the page language, your consent and the time of the request. The data sit in a Cloudflare D1 database. The same bot check runs on submission; its token is not stored. We do not store your IP address, only a salted hash of it, which serves solely to limit repeated requests within one hour.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
When you write to us or we answer your request, the correspondence is stored in our business mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). Legal basis: answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, marketing or tracking tools. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies to defend against attacks; they require no consent.
Recipients and processors
Personal data reach only the providers needed to run the site: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) for delivery, database (D1), bot check (Turnstile) and sending the form emails, and Google Ireland Limited for our business mailbox. Data processing agreements are in place with both.
Transfers abroad
Cloudflare is established in the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses apply in addition. Google Ireland Limited processes the email data in the EU; the same safeguards apply to any access from third countries.
Retention
We keep datasheet and pilot requests for up to 12 months after the last contact and then delete them, unless an ongoing business relationship requires retention. Business correspondence is kept for up to 10 years under commercial and tax law. Connection data at Cloudflare are subject to Cloudflare's own retention periods.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to receive your data in a common format, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time; the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal is unaffected. Contact us at the email address above; we answer within 30 days.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch). Persons in the European Economic Area may contact the supervisory authority of their place of residence.
No automated decision-making
We make no automated individual decisions and carry out no profiling.
Changes
We update this notice when our processing or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
